POSITION: Business Education or Technology Education and FBLA Advisor
LOCATION: Junior High/ High School
DESCRIPTION: Full time teaching position
SALARY AND BENEFITS: Per AEA scale

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A major Business Education or Technology Education
  • Appropriate Washington professional education certification.
  • Candidate must be able to teach various levels of modern  Business Education & technology class that may include:  accounting, keyboarding, excel, word, digital design, robotic technology, cad/cadd drafting and or design technology, pre-Engineering, security issues and FBLA leadership; 
  • Desired teacher characteristics include: flexibility; ability to organize ideas, time, and materials to accomplish goals; enthusiasm, ability to express ideas clearly, ability to learn new ideas and skills, ability and willingness to develop favorable relationships with students, knowledge of current approaches to teaching and willingness to model behavior deemed appropriate by the District and the community.
  • Willingness to participate in District ERASR Safety Program
  • Washington State Patrol Background Check
  • F.B.I. Fingerprint Check

REPORTS TO: Dale Bonfield, Junior-Senior High School Principal

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Applicants must submit a letter of interest, complete with a resume of prior work experience, credentials, transcripts, and have a completed District Certified Application form on file. Those applicants judged most qualified for the position would be invited for an interview.
