    Title I and LAP Programs

The Federal Government provides funding for the state. Each state submits a plan describing what all students are expected to know and be able to do, standard of performance students are expected to meet, and ways to measure the schools' progress.

The State Educational Agency determines the amount of money each school district receives based on the number of families under a set income level.

The Local School District determines which students are eligible and distributes the Title I and LAP resources.
